Meet Different People Working In Green Chemistry
There are many ways to work in the field of green chemistry. Some people choose to work in the lab or factory developing safer chemicals and better processes. Other people work in the government helping the community learn about safer materials and more environmentally friendly habits. Still other people help cover the cost of all the research, development, and promotion of new green chemistry innovations.
Before you get started, it might be helpful to answer the question: What Is Green Chemistry?
Here is a short video and a quick, elementary-level reading passage to get you started.

Meet The Entrepreneurs (science & ELA)Interested in meeting these cool green chemistry entrepreneurs?
While these FireSci Shorts are not as spiffy as our longer feature entrepreneur videos that John creates for us, we asked one of the CreositySpace crew to grab their camera and meet up with Evrnu, ZILA Works and Sironix to ask them a few questions. Check out the videos and accompanying written biographies to learn more about who they are and what they are doing. Lesson FileThe entrepreneur story is a great way to engage students and connect science and ELA learning objectives. The videos are a nice companion to reading comprehension activities.
