What do you want to do when you grow up?

Some of the coolest inventions and companies were created and launched by kid entrepreneurs and innovators. Some didn’t want to wash the cat food spoon. Some wanted to help people to eat. Others wanted to write in the dark, talk under water and keep their crayons from breaking.

Kids can record a notion straight from their head or draw inspiration from one of the innovation prompts on the pages. Since everyone works differently, they can write or draw on the lined pages or the blank pages. They can start at the beginning, the middle or the end of the Book of Ideas. There are no rules, except that it be their idea!

Integrate STEM concepts into ELA with the Book of Ideas  The Book of Ideas is an inventors notebook for kids to write down or draw their own ideas and designs. Similar to a real inventor's notebook, every spread includes a title block, quotes from entrepreneurs, as well as a short design prompt. There is also a glossary of common terms and a list of inventions and businesses started by kids.

Book of Ideas:

Getting kids to connect to and see value in their ideas is a key ingredient in teaching STEM, and one of the biggest challenges.

This is why CreositySpace created the Book of Ideas.

Similar to a real inventor’s notebook, the Book of Ideas was designed to encourage kids to write down or draw their own ideas and inventions. Pages include a title block, quotes from entrepreneurs and innovators, as well as a short design prompt. There also is a glossary of common terms and a list of inventions and businesses started by kids.

Meet Oli
Let Olivia tell you about the Book of Ideas

What people are saying about the Book of Ideas

This morning I woke up to my five-year-old daughter Ma'ayan telling me about her Book of Ideas. She happily told me "on the first page there are different inventions that kids have made like ear muffs and trampoline. You can write what you invented, and I invented super soft pink and blue Playdough."

Then she went off to wash her hands and bring back the Playdough to show me. "I just decided to make something with Plasticine and see what I come up with".

As a parent, I love how respectful of kids this book is, letting them know that their ideas and inventions matter and that they can make a difference.

- Jessica, Mother to 5-year-old Ma'ayan

My daughter and I loved doing the Book of Ideas together!

It sparked conversations we would not have had otherwise-the very best kind! She was full of ideas and questions about how to make them happen.

My favorite: Mom, I want to create a laundry robot, so that you can read books on the couch with me more."

CreositySpace's material are just the right kind of activity and content for kids-seeding innovation and leadership. In an era where our children are constantly bombarded with the wrong messages and models, this company's approach is such a breath of fresh air. The content is exactly the kind of thing I'd love to see more in school curricula and mass market products.

The Book of Ideas is a perfect lightweight, super affordable easy gift for any and all kids.

- Amy, Mother to 5-year-old Kai
