Live Entrepreneur Program

Connecting STEM Entrepreneurs and their innovations
to lessons in the classroom

Hands on STEM activities and presentation
While there might be an app for just about anything, nothing can replace the power of meeting someone and hearing about their personal experience. Research continually shows us that storytelling and relevant role models are key to seeding early interest in STEM.

What better way to make STEM real for kids, at a time when they ask “What do I want to do when I grow up,” than introducing them to those uniquely positioned to inspire them—entrepreneurs and innovators!

It is with this philosophy in mind that CreositySpace developed its Live Entrepreneur Program.

“Our students are so excited before each presentation wondering what the new presentation will be about. They come back to class very enthusiastic about the topic that they just learned about. We have heard from parents that the students share information at home with their families. We find that the children are beginning to look around their environment a bit differently.”  —Miller Hill Elementary Teachers, Averill Park

LIVE Presentations to Teach Real-Life STEM

When kids start thinking about what they want to do when they grow up, they draw their inspiration from the people around them. By working with a diverse group of entrepreneurs and innovators, CreositySpace aims to show kids that STEM comes in many forms and is something that can be enjoyed by everyone.

Our live presentations not only give students a chance to learn about new technologies and do some fun hands-on activities, but also give them the opportunity for personal exchange with a whole new set of role models.
Our presenters represent a diversity of professions, ethnic and national backgrounds, who are:
  • Launching tech start-ups
  • Conducting forward-looking research
  • Incorporating new technologies and research to solve complex social challenges
Live In-Class CreositySpace Presentations by Entrepreneurs & Innovators
Live sessions are currently only available in the New York Capital region and the Greater Seattle area. Please contact Peg or Kath if you would like to inquire about or schedule a live presentation in your area

  • Young Inventor “Book of Ideas” Journal Series- designed to help kids connect to, and see value in, their ideas, is similar to a real inventor’s notebook. Kids are encouraged to write down or draw their own ideas and inventions.

  • Young Entrepreneur GRIT Book Series- captures the creative genius of entrepreneurs and innovators in pictures and verse to engage early grade school students.
My students look forward to illustrating and writing in their Book of Ideas. Using the Book Of Ideas as a center during our ELA block fosters creativity and independent thinking, and provides students with a purpose to write."  — Susan H., Grade 3 Teacher
